Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a 2014 American science fiction film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, and Keri Russell. It is the sequel to the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which began 20th Century Fox's reboot of the original Planet of the Apes series. It is the eighth theatrical film in the franchise.
The new film opens in deserted San Francisco that has only a small colony of human survivors of a deadly disease. Its leader is Dreyfus (the magnificent Gary Oldman, sadly in a role that spans just a few bouts of intense yelling) and its real hero is Malcolm (Jason Clarke). This community’s only source of power—and their only hope of further sustenance—is an enormous waterfall deep inside a neighbouring forest. Caesar (Andy Serkis), now both ferocious and compassionate, rules in that forest over kin and family (which includes the most adorable ape baby you will ever see on screen).
In fact, the story skips ten years ahead, to a time when humanity has largely been wiped out by ALZ-113, the lab-grown virus that was responsible for increasing the apes’ intelligence. Caesar (Serkis), the leader of the simian revolution, is now husband to Cornelia (Judy Greer) and father to the teenaged River (Nick Thurston) as well as a new-born. A new generation of apes has arrived and one can see how they seem to be inching towards civilisation in human terms. Aside from understanding and speaking bits of broken English taught to them by Caesar, they have learned how to ride, hunt, and live like early man.
There are some humans too around. They exist in quarantined colonies that have somehow managed to save themselves from the pandemic, such as the one depicted in San Francisco in this movie. Dreyfus, the leader of the human survivors, is played by this film’s sole recognisable A-lister: Gary Oldman.
Meanwhile, the catalyst for the story – the inevitable friction between apes and humans – occurs when Malcolm (Jason Clarke) leads a team through the woods in which the apes reside while trying to access a dam that may give back the city its long-missing electricity supply.
It’s interesting to note how the film portrays subtle differences between the apes through speech patterns. Those who are close to Caesar, the most intelligent and evolved ape, tend to speak more silently through sign language; others choose to convey their feelings via guttural grunts accompanied by wild hand gestures.
Koba (Toby Kebbell), an aggressive older ape who harbours deep mistrust for the humans because they used him as a test subject for years, grunts while speaking to Caesar. However, when Koba wants to issue an order to the other apes, he speaks in broken English. This could be a reference to colonialism and cultural chauvinism.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a 2014 Bollywood film. The film features Varun Dhawan as Rakesh Sharma (Humpty) and Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap Singh in lead roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar and directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan. The film also has Siddharth Shukla as Angad Bedi and Ashutosh Rana as Mr. Singh - Kavya's Father.
The films soundtrack is composed by Sachin-Jigar & Sharib-Toshi and lyrics are penned by Kumaar. The film has songs like Saturday Saturday, Samjhawan, Daingad Daingad, Lucky Tu Lucky Me, Emotional Fool, D Se Dance and Samjhawan (Unplugged).
Rakesh 'Humpty' Sharma played by Varun Dhawan, unlike his name Humpty is fit, fun and carefree. A middle class Delhi boy, he is a 'Jugadoo' (Innocent Con) but with a heart. He has no ambition and no expectations from life. He is happy to help his father in their University Book Store and drink away with his two best friends. But just like his namesake he does fall, he falls in Love. He wears his heart on the sleeve and tackles all obstacles with a warm smile and happy heart.
Kavya Pratap Singh played by Alia Bhatt though from small town India, Ambala, she has a contemporary attitude. She is ethnic yet fashionable, cautious yet outgoing. If she wants something, she will go get it. She also has a heart of gold and reaches out to every friend in need. She agrees to marry the boy her Dad selects, but when love happens she follows her heart. She has the courage to challenge her dad, and the warmth to care for him. Kavya is truly loveable.
Thus the movie has an interesting story. When Kavya Pratap Singh, a chirpy, yet fiesty girl from Ambala, decides to make a trip to Delhi for her marriage shopping, she meets a young, carefree Delhi lad, Humpty Sharma. Humpty's father is the owner of a campus bookstore, where Humpty and his two best friends, Shonty and Poplu, have grown up together and which remains their hangout spot even now. Kavya is unattainable for Humpty initially, which makes her even more endearing to him. But being a Delhi boy, he is not the one to give up so easily. With some help from his two best friends, he finds out all about her and through an interesting turn of events (including a ploy to save Kavya's friend Gurpreet's marriage), they start growing closer to each other.
The more time they spend with each other, their love hate banter grows, but their chemistry is apparent. They are both different, yet very similar as people. They are young, fiesty and carefree, and its the spurge of life which attracts them to each other.
As per plan, once Kavya's trip ends, she heads back to Ambala, knowing very well that her father, the very strict, yet loving Mr. Singh, would never accept her love for Humpty. But even though they both weren't looking for love, love happened. So Humpty, accompanied by his two friends, decides to go get Kavya.
That's the beginning of a journey for him that he wouldn't have imagined undertaking even in the wildest of his dreams. Humpty, against all odds, decides to convince Kavya's family to agree to his alliance with her. How he does this and if he succeeds in his mission forms the rest of the story.

Begin Again

Begin Again (formerly Can a Song Save Your Life?)[5] is a 2013 American musical romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by John Carney, starring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, James Corden and Adam Levine in his acting debut.
The movie has an interesting plot. Greta (Keira Knightley) and her long-time boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) are college sweethearts and songwriting partners who decamp for New York when he lands a deal with a major label. But the trappings of his new-found fame soon tempt Dave to stray, and a reeling, lovelorn Greta is left on her own.
Her world takes a turn for the better when Dan (Mark Ruffalo), a disgraced record-label exec, stumbles upon her performing on an East Village stage and is immediately captivated by her raw talent. From this chance encounter emerges an enchanting portrait of a mutually transformative collaboration, set to the soundtrack of a summer in New York City.
