NAVI MUMBAI: Local political leaders like Thane’s
Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik, Mayor of Navi Mumbai Sagar Naik, Former Member
of Parliament Sanjeev Naik, Current Member of Parliament of Thane District
Rajan Vichare, Navi Mumbai District Chief of Shiv Sena Vijay Chougule, Former
Member of Municipal Legislative Council Manda Mhatre, Member of Legislative
Assembly of Panvel Prashant Thakur, Deputy Mayor of Navi Mumbai Ashok Gawade
and many others attended the dinner party held at Hotel Fortune on Palm Beach
Road at Vashi.
The party which
was meant for all the political parties and eminent journalists of Navi Mumbai
was organized by Navi Mumbai Press Club. The event proved to be a success with
everyone who attended contributing enthusiastically to make the event a
memorable one. Even the mutually opposing political leaders and politicians
greeted each other keeping aside their grievances against each other and thus
making the event a special one. Many political personalities aired positive
views about how well the party, which was probably the first of its kind,
organized. Some journalists added to the glamour of the event by singing
foot-tapping Bollywood numbers.
On the whole the
party was a great success and the credit should go to all the journalists who
are members of Navi Mumbai Press Club, besides all the guests who attended.
