Behrani to
undergo narco test in Sandhya murder case

NAVI MUMBAI: The crime branch had arrested Navi Mumbai’s assistant
police inspector Anil Behrani in connection with the Sandhya Singh murder case.
The police had done brain mapping
and polygraph tests on Behrani, and now they intend that he undergo narco test.

The first scientific tests were
conducted and their reports are still to come from the Forensic Science
Laboratory (FSL) in Kalina. The preliminary FSL finding was that Behrani's
brain mapping behaviour was normal.
Narco test which is also called
lie-detection test will help clear the doubts in the matter of Anil Behrani.
The crime branch had found
Behrani's cell number in Sandhya's call detail reports. He had come in contact
with Sandhya when she lodged a complaint of petty theft at her home in
November. After that Sandhya had taken Behrani to Taloja to show him her flat
there that she wanted to rent out. That is the reason why Behrani has become
one of the main suspects in this murder case.
