Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan are nominated for 3 Idiots for IIFA Awards. The nominations for the Micromax IIFA Awards were announced just recently. Amongst many other, the film 3 Idiots has 14 nominations. Aamir Khan, who created waves with his amazing performance in the flick has been nominated for the Best Male Actor, And Kareena Kapoor as the Best Female Actor, for 3 Idiots.
The Golmaal team consisting of Ajay Devgn, director Rohit Shetty and Tusshar Kapoor are known for their prankster ways, and a recent target of their mischief was Kareena Kapoor. It seems that when they were shooting at a hotel, Ajay and Rohit began talking about how a woman had died there, and that her spirit still haunted the hotel. They added that the ghost visited the hotel suite in which Kareena was staying and it even killed guests. Kareena was slightly scared and told the guys to stop, but they wouldn't. The actress wasn't totally horrified or anything, she doesn't believe in ghosts. But she felt bit tired of the pranks. It is possible that Kareena might spook them to get back. Don't be surprised if she wears white sari and scary expressions and roams in the corridors in order to scare the trio. Kareena is a brave girl and does not believe in ghost stories, but she does have a slight inhibition as the hotel they stay in, is a little secluded. Goa, with its still greenery, does have these secluded spots, which sometimes does get spooky. The Ghostly escapades are an added adventure for the brave Kareena.
Post Tashan and Kurbaan, the Saif-Kareena couple is geared up for their next project under Saif's home production titled Agent Vinod. The movie will star Kareena and Saif and is produced under the banner Illuminati Films. The movie is a spy thriller and has both Saif and Kareena playing secret agents. The twist here is that Kareena's character holds a greyer shade this time. This slick-thriller is directed by Sriram Raghavan and the story portrays a war-like situation in Asia where Kareena works with corporate biggies who hope to cash in on the state of affairs. In the end we get to know that she is a spy of the Pakistani Government. Kareena will also sport five different looks in the movie using the same prosthetics which gave the different looks to Hrithik in Dhoom 2.
Kareena had a mixed year in 2009 with two flops as Main Aur Mrs Khanna and Kurbaan and then the mega blockbuster opposite Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots. Now Kareena has started shooting for Agent Vinod in which, as I told you earlier, she plays a negative character, while Saif Ali Khan plays the title role. Kareena is naturally very excited about her role. She believes Agent Vinod will be a cool and intelligent film. She calls it a very 'Saif style' film. Kareena is also shooting for a shampoo ad in Malaysia. She is also in talks with designer Aki Narula for her various looks in Agent Vinod. Designer Aki Narula, who has worked with her in most of her stylish films like Tashan and Kambakkht Ishq, has been roped in to design her wardrobe for the flick, which is going to be a slick action thriller. What is interesting is that Kareena and Saif are not romantically paired in the film. Kareena is very excited to be a part of Shriram's film. It's a great script too. It's something Kareena has never attempted before. Agent Vinod will be filmed at exotic locations all over the globe. Kareena who is considered as a glam diva gets a stylish makeover for the film.

After having made films based on the real life incidents on Chandni Bar, Traffic Signal, Page 3, Life in a Metro, Fashion and Jail, the filmmaker is all set to reveal the reality behind all the glitz and glamour of the film world. This time his focus is going to be based on the life of a top heroine. The protagonist's role to be played by Kareena shall be based on the lives of three astounding beautiful and talented actresses of the Hindi film industry. The three actresses are Meena Kumari, also known as the Tragedy queen of Hindi cinema, Nargis, the ever-shining star of tinsel town and Madhubala, the most beautiful actress, the silver screen has ever seen. Earlier, the buzz was that the film would be based on the Hollywood queen Marilyn Monroe, but now the final decision has zeroed on these three evergreen heroines. Kareena, who is busy with other projects, is very excited and is waiting for this project to start. It is scheduled to start from December. Actress Kareena is all excited to have signed a film with the director obsessed with the reality touch, Madhur Bhandarkar. However, the director is all confused and stranded at crossroads because some other director has already registered the title he wanted for his film. Now, the buzz is that, Madhur Bhandarkar, who has a theme of a female star and her life for his next film with Kareena playing the protagonist, is hell bent on keeping the title of the film as Mahee. The thing is the title has already been registered by his one time good friend and now turned adversary, director Ashutosh Gowarikar. This bit of news is irking Madhur, as he is clueless on how he should go about asking for Ashutosh's consent in buying the title from him. The Mahee mayhem thus started. However, now the buzz is that if Mahee is unachievable, then Madhur will name his film Heroine which will also be Kareena's next project. Madhur's film shows promise of giving a tremendous boost to Kareena's career. Kareena indeed has a great future lying ahead for her!
