Katrina Kaif's film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is releasing on the eve of her birthday. Her last birthday was celebrated while shooting for this film in Spain. She was away from home with just the film's cast and crew. They went out for a dinner to a Spanish restaurant. And coincidentally the film is now releasing on the eve of her birthday.
Katrina has her own idea of living life to the fullest. Balancing what is the right thing to do and what she really wants to do! Balancing what she wants and what is expected out of her! She thinks a lot of people make decisions of what is expected from them and not from what they want. She feels that there is no point in working so hard and not being happy.
Katrina has ridden bikes before. But the bike in this film was much heavier and bigger. So she had to train in between the shooting days in Spain. For scuba-diving, she trained in the pool for 4-5 days but when they went on location, they were shooting in the sea which was very rough, choppy and a different experience. On one of the diving days she went completely out of control, because she got pushed around under the water. She couldn't come up quickly to the top. That was the scariest moment for her.
The Tomatina festival is exactly like what Holi is for us. It happens in Spain every year where everyone plays music on streets, there's water, there's dancing and there's this whole playing with the tomatoes thing. It took Katrina and her team three days to shoot the song and it felt kind of gross after a while. But it was fun.
Katrina who was poor in Hindi and whose many films were dubbed for her voice has surprised everyone by singing in Hindi. The actress also credited her singing merits to her co-star Farhan Akhtar, who helped her with her singing lessons. The actress went on to appreciate Farhan saying that he taught him to sing in rhythm and taught her with lot of patience. The 26 year old is happy with her “friends of life” her co-stars in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She is even planning a birthday bash with her new friends, a day after the release of the film in July 15th. Nevertheless the response to the movie will obviously add to her happiness at her 27th birthday eve.
Katrina doesn't take up hosting reality shows as her Hindi is not good, that might become a problem. She is also busy with her movie projects as she does 2-3 of them a year.
Katrina has not applied for an Indian citizenship since it is a slightly difficult task and also all her sisters stay in London. She might soon try for Indian citizenship.
In Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Katrina looks hot in a rockstar avatar, smoking a bidi and playing an electric guitar and Imran Khan saying “Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di toh phir main apne aap ki bhi nahi suntan.” It surely can't get better than this!
