GOA: The 2nd ‘All India Hindu Convention’ which is being held from 6th to 10th June under the joint aegis of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Pedne
Navanirman Samiti commenced this morning (6th June 2013) in the Vidhyadhiraj Hall of Ramnath temple at Ramnathi, Goa.
Pujya Charudatta Pingale, National guide, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti delivered a key-note address. He said, “The corrupt political parties will not be at ease to allow establishment of the ‘Hindu Nation’. Hence, no political party has been invited to the Convention.”
Pujya Pingale had the august company of Pujya Shrikrushna Karve, Pujya Vijaykumar Deshmukh Maharaj, Shri Shri Pranavanand Ramaswami, Shri Basavraj Swami, Swami Mahesh Yogi, Swami Pradnyanand Saraswati and Dharmacharya from Malaysia Swami Kumaranand. The Convention commenced amid sounding of a conch, lighting of traditional lamp and recital of vedic mantras. This was followed by publication of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s and Sanatan’s Marathi, Hindi and Kannada Holy texts. The Convention was also graced by the august presence of Pujya Cyriaque Vallee and His wife Pujya (Mrs) Yoya Vallee of Spiritual Science Research Foundation and Pujya Pruthviraj Hazare, former editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ group of periodicals.
Pujya Cyriaque Vallee narrated his spiritual journey. Guiding the Convention on ‘Why we need Hindu Nation’, Peetmbar Yogapithadheeshwar Swami Pradnyanand Saraswati from Kanpur said, “There are 80 crore Hindus in Bharat. Though Hindus are in majority in the Parliament and Legislative Assemblies, no one raises the issues of Hindu interest. Today, the condition of Hindu Dharma and the Hindus in the country is very pathetic. Hindus are restive. Today, not a single Hindu can speak about Dharma. The education system of Macaulay has immensely harmed Hindu Dharma and the Hindus. Hence, Hindus should be imparted education on Dharma.”
Mr. Upanand Brahmachari, Editor of the website ‘Hindu Existence’ from Kolkata said, “As the Hindus themselves are sceptical about the concept of establishing the Hindu Nation, the Hindu Nation could not be established. Hence, every Hindu should have self-confidence and faith in this concept and become proactive for the Hindu Nation. The big Hindu organization are associated less with Dharma and more with politics. We should have closeness with Dharma if we have to establish the Hindu Nation. Though the Hindus are literate, they are illiterate about Dharma. Hence, there is a dire need of imparting education on Dharma to the Hindus. In such a situation, if all Hindu organisations, small or big, come together, it will not take long to establish the Hindu Nation.”

Swami Mahesh Yogi of Arya Samaj from Uttar Pradesh said, “If a calamity befalls Hindus from Kashmir to Kanyakumar and Gujarat to Bengal, the Hindus from every nook and corner of the country should rush to their rescue unitedly. If the Muslims and Christians come together once a week, why cannot the Hindus come together once a month? There is a dire need to keep away those who wear the mask of Hindu-activism and carry out their task. If asked whether you need a Ramrajya, not a single Hindu will ever say no. Hence, we must establish the Hindu Nation.”
