The police
obtain statement from girl who jumped out of car

NAVI MUMBAI: The 18-year-old girl who had jumped out of a speeding
car on Palm Beach Road
She
made a statement that she was offered lift in the vehicle consisting of two men
and a child. She wanted to get down at Seawoods, but the driver refused to
stop, she said. This gave her the idea that the two men were intending to harm
her and hence she jumped out of the car. However, she did not lodge an official
complaint.
The
NRI police, who had detained two men who had given her lift in their car, booked
the driver for rash driving.
