CIDCO to
provide information online

The
City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) in Navi Mumbai is all set
to put various categories of information online to make any information
available to the citizens. These citizens will not have to visit CIDCO office
or take resort to Right To Information Act if they are in need of any
information. This system will also improve transparency in the functioning of
CIDCO.
CIDCO
has toed the line of other government agencies which have adopted similar
system to ensure transparency. CIDCO has been inspired by the following
agencies: Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) – www.mmrda.maharashtra.gov.in
which talks about world class infrastructure in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region,
Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) - www.mcgm.gov.in which have hosts of details
made available and CIDCO's own portal – www.cidco.maharashtra.gov.in
where overall details of CIDCO’s projects are mentioned on CIDCO's website.
